I am an Indian-American journalist living in India. I am currently working with The Washington Post's South Asia bureau in Delhi. Most recently, I was on a Fulbright research project studying tech work in small Indian towns.
I have previously worked at or written for the Indian Express, Wall Street Journal, CNN, Scroll.in, the Boston Globe, Radiolab, and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. My words have also appeared in Bloomberg Businessweek, Quartz, and the World Bank. I have won grants and awards from RedInk, the Society of Publishers in Asia, the South Asian Journalism Association, and the Earth Journalism Network.
I've completed my Master's from London's School of Oriental and African Studies in media and technology. My aim is to bridge the gap between academic, creative, and journalistic writing. Some of my favorite clips are below.
