For the summer of 2013, I interned at the Bay Area's largest all-news radio station. I wasn't able to get my voice on the air due to union rules but I created demo tapes for every single script I wrote (left) and spent time on my own feature stories as well (right). I spoke to couples who just got married after the Supreme Court same-sex marriage rulings allowed them to do so and wrote scripts about the city's bike share program, Obama's approval ratings, and the Veteran's Affairs.
